Maverick Vinales Officially Stays on Yamaha Until MotoGP 2022
Maverick Vinales became the first MotoGP rider to sign a new contract in 2020. With a two-year contract, the Spanish rider officially stayed at Yamaha Factory Racing until 2022. This was officially announced by Yamaha Motor Racing through an official release on Tuesday (1/27/2020), when Vinales was preparing himself in Qatar ahead of the new season. Vinales will return to the track in the Malaysian MotoGP preseason trial at the Sepang Circuit on February 7-9. Following is the official statement of the 25-year-old racer.
